KWASU Law Student Commits Suicide
 








A 300-level law student from Kwara State University, Malete has committed suicide which has  thrown the institution into mourning.


 Fatimah Abdullahi died on Thursday  after taken a dose of lethal substance popularly known as snipper.


Although the details of the incident was still unknown, our correspondent learnt that she has been battling depression following the death of her younger sibling.

Reacting to this, the National Association of Kwara State Law Students (NAKLAS) mourned the deceased, calling for ban on the importation and use of snippers.

The association in a statement issued by its chairman, Mashood Ibrahim urged students to shun suicide, saying “depression shouldn’t be encouraged, no matter the situation or circumstance”.
